Our 5th Annual Butterfly Release & Fundraiser in support of the Langley Hospice Society, and the Langley Lodge, is hosted by the popular Krause Berry Farms and Estate Winery, located at 6179 – 248th Street in Langley on Saturday, July 7th, 2018. This annual fundraising event attracts hundreds of guests who participate in this poignant celebration in the beautiful gardens onsite at Krause Berry Farms. Butterflies are released by all ages, in honor of loved ones, in celebration, and in memory – and all in support of a great cause.

The event is open to the public and will be hosted onsite at Krause Berry Farms & Estate Winery between 12:30pm and 3pm. Please arrive early, as the Butterfly Release will happen promptly at 1:30pm, and will see 400 Painted Lady Butterflies take flight for the first time amongst the beautiful gardens on the grounds. With limited #’s of butterflies available, pre-ordering is recommended for those who want to participate in the actual release. Butterflies can be pre-ordered closer to the date for $25.00 each, please note: there will be very limited butterflies available onsite at Krause Berry Farms on event day.
We will share a link for purchasing butterflies when the lodge is set up and ready for purchase.

In addition to the spectacular butterflies in flight, this fun and inspirational event will see entertainment, children’s crafts and activities, face painting, live music and everything else that Krause Berry Farms has to offer with their wine tasting room, waffle bar, café and market place – there is really something for everyone!!

This is an annual fundraising event, made possible by generous support from Krause Berry Farms & Estate Winery, and other community support from RE/MAX Treeland Realty and Flutterbuys, with tents provided by: Prospera Credit Union. Funds raised will benefit two important Langley organizations, the Langley Hospice Society (www.langleyhospice.com), who provide palliative and bereavement care and support to the children, teens adults and families they serve and the Langley Care Foundation, that enriches the lives of the elderly served by the Langley Lodge (www.langleylodge.org).
