Lepp Farm Market
Each student will take home 3-4lbs of their own hand made sausages.
Have you ever wanted to make your own fresh sausages at home, but didn’t know where to start? This class led by our friendly Butcher Jason Lepp and Market Chef Nick will teach you all of the basics on preparing your own hand-made sausages in your own home! Quality sausages are the perfect combination of the right cuts of meat, coarseness of grind, fat ratios, casings, mixing and stuffing techniques and this is your chance to learn from our market pros. After getting your hands dirty making sausages, you can take off the apron and relax in our kitchen where Market Chef Nick will prepare the sausages using some of his favorite recipes. Of course you get to sample it all, plus you go home with three to four pounds of fresh sausage you’ve made yourself.
On the menu: Just in time for St.Patrick’s Day, the sausages we make today will be Irish-inspired! Afterword, Chef Nick will walk us through Irish-inspired recipes, like Bangers & Mash.
Cost: $117 per person
