We are excited to welcome you back to the Applebarn starting August 17! This will be our 28th season, and we are so honoured that our farm has become an annual fall tradition for families and friends everywhere.
We love sharing the beauty of local food and watching people, of all ages, having fun while learning about where their fruits and veggies come from. Here’s what we have in store for you.
Take a Hay Ride to our NEW Sunflower Patch
Spanning over a 1/4 acre, these vibrant green and yellow flowers are expected to be in full bloom by mid August, right in time for opening week at the Applebarn. Not available for picking, but they will make the perfect backdrop for photos. Watch our website for updates!
Harvest Apples in our U-pick Orchards
Knowing where your food comes from is so important. So what could be better than harvesting for yourself in our U-Pick orchards and pumpkin patch? Varieties available include Alkmene, Ambrosia, Fuji, Gala, Honeycrisp, Jonagold, Gravenstein, Spartan and Elstar apples, Italian and Japanese Blood Plums, and pumpkins. Because weather can affect harvest times, please check our website for updates.
Have a Bounce. Take a ride. Pet a Baby Goat
Pedal carts, jumping pillows, petting barn, zip track line, corn gun, pumpkin cannon, hay rides, and our Corn Quest Maze. Pony rides are also available on weekends.
If you don’t have time to U-Pick, you can also visit our Country Store to choose from freshly-harvested apples and artisan, farm-fresh veggies. We also have farm-made apple, pumpkin and fruit pies, sweet treats like caramel apples and fudge. And don’t forget to try a fresh-pressed apple cider slushie – perfect on a hot day!
