Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 20 Minutes

Serves: 4

 Ingredients

  • 1 cup long grain white rice, uncooked
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 bunch of green onions, sliced thin
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound JD Farms turkey breast ground
  • 2 Tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp crushed ginger
  • 1 pound green beans, washed and trimmed or Chinese long beans if available
  • 1tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar

 Instructions

Cook rice in lightly salted water. When rice is about 15 minutes from being done, heat a large skillet over high heat. Add the sesame oil, green onions and garlic. Sauté for about 2 minutes. Stir in ground turkey and continue sautéing for another 3-5 minutes, until meat is mostly cooked. Try to crumble meat while cooking as much as possible. Stir in the chili garlic sauce, hoisin sauce and ginger. Add green beans and soya sauce, stirring to coat all. Continue to cook over high heat for 7-9 minutes, stirring frequently, until beans are slightly tender. Stir in the rice vinegar and cook one minute longer. Serve over cooked rice.
