ART’S NURSERY LTD. SCARECROW FESTIVAL TO SUPPORT 3 LOCAL CHARITIES

Art’s Nursery’s Annual Scarecrow Festival is a fundraising community event for the whole family in support of 3 local charities, running from September 23rd– October 31st.

Art’s Scarecrow Festival kicks off with a full day festival September 23rd including a DIY Build-a- CROW station, music, crafts and activities, and demos & gardening advice to create a festive fall. In the spirit of our fabulous local outdoor markets, local vendors will be on hand providing artisan crafts and foods for all to enjoy. A special thanks to over 50 local businesses for sponsoring the creative and crazy scarecrows to be found throughout the nursery.

Art’s Scarecrow Festival 2017 is proud to support the following charities:

The Versatiles-These amazing volunteers travel around senior’s facilities and palliative care units to performing and brightening days.
Semiahmoo animal league inc.- an incredible farm connecting at risk youth and abandoned horses with magical results.
L’Arche– supporting day programs and housing for people with developmental challenges
