Course Overview:

Mike & Judy Campbell are certified by the B.C. Honey Producer’s Association to teach the Certified Beginner Beekeepers Course. This course is broken into 8 sessions, with a total of 21 hours of instruction – 15 hours in the class room and 6 hours will be experiential hands-on near, or at the hives.

Course fee of $250.00 will include the course materials, instruction, final examination and experience with bees.  Upon successful completion of the exam, a certificate will be issued.

Course Dates & Times:

Course session dates for 2019 are:

Feb 25, March 11, 18, 25, April 8 & 15 – Monday evenings – 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Includes lecture/hands on classroom, and exam on April 15th.

April 20 & May 4 – Saturday mornings – 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Working with the bees and hives.

  • Honey, Nectar, Pollen, and Pollination
