Give a Girl a Goat Celebration Day

This celebration is for everyone who purchased one of our GIVE A GIRL A GOAT goat packs and to raise additional funds and awareness for the on going Give a girl a goat campaign going on at Taves Family Farms and Taves Estate Cidery all fall.

Listen to a live concert by Ryan McAllister, visit our petting barn, goats, and GOATerdays playground, enjoy the sunflower patch at Taves Farmsand a hay ride through the apple orchard, indulge in concession favourites, and you might even win a door prize! Of course, our cider is always on tap!

If you choose to buy a whole goat, you receive two tickets to one of Ryan’s performances, a pass for two to our sunflower patch and hay ride, and petting barn admission!

The day of the event:

• Guests will pick up their pre-ordered goat package
• Ryan McAllister’s concert hosts no more than 45 people, social distancing style, at 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. Tickets are $10 each and not included in the Give a Girl a Goat campaign packages.
• Please bring a mask to wear on the hay ride. You can also purchase one for $1/mask.

For those who didn’t buy a goat package, you can still attend this event. Pricing is as follows:

• Sunflower garden & hayride pass ($12.95/person) – masks will be required to board the hayride, bring your own or available for purchase for $1
• Petting Barn is $3/person
