Join us for Joy of Feeding, a unique inter-generational, international food festival, and fundraiser for the UBC Farm where we celebrate home-cooked dishes from around the world. Joy of Feeding is a roaming feast where you can sample from 13 cooks from 13 countries in the fields of the UBC Farm. Chefs from Vij’s, Cacao, the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts, and UBC Food Services have brought together home cooks of different cultural backgrounds – from Cameroon to Colombia – to offer a taste of their favourite recipes.

What will you do at Joy of Feeding? Roam from cook-to-cook, and back again. Learn about the home cooks’ cultures. Connect with your local, sustainable food community. Kick up your heels to live music. Take a guided tour of the UBC Farm. Buy fresh, organic UBC Farm produce. Enjoy local craft beer and wine, available for purchase (must be 19 or older). Check out interactive booths featuring children’s activities and local culinary culture – kids welcome! All the recipes will be available here on our website, so you can recreate your favourites at home.
