Bring your appetite as we dish out the food Mexican style tonight! We’ll walk you through his versions of the following great Mexican inspired dishes: Fresh Cut Salsa & Chunky Guacamole with tortilla chips, then moving onto complex tasting authentic Black Bean Soup, and finally his twist on a classic Chicken Mole with Rice recipe that will have you doing a sombrero dance by the evening’s end! Our Chef Demo cooking classes are designed to inform, entertain & feed you in our unique cheese shop setting. All classes are demonstration only, though the chef may invite interested guests to help stir the pot or try assist with a culinary technique. We encourage you to sit back, relax while you follow the recipes & enjoy each course as it is prepared in front of you & served at your table. Classes generally run from 2 to 2½ hrs and include a short break midway through the class. Seating is on first come basis & we recommend you come at least 15 minutes early to choose your seats, especially if in a group. Our maximum class size is 20.
Payment Details:
Payment is required at time of registration and can be done by phone with Visa or MasterCard, or paid in shop with Debit, Cash or Credit Card. Sorry, (no American Express). Prices vary with classes and do not include tax. Please note that we require 3 days (72hrs) advance notice for any cancellations. All cooking class payments are non refundable, but can be exchanged for credit towards another class or to purchase products in the store. Class registrations may also be transferred to another person, if you so choose. Occasionally, Cheesecrafters may need to cancel a class due to circumstances beyond our control. In this case, all class fees will be fully refunded.
Dietary Restrictions:
We do not guarantee special menu items for dietary restrictions & allergies. Please let us know when booking if there are any food restrictions & we will inform the chef. These classes are not recommended for severe allergy or strict dietary needs.
Private Classes & Dinners:
We also accommodate groups for private dinner parties, classes or meetings, with a minimum number of 12. Our venue is also suitable for networking or casual cocktail style events for larger groups of up to 50. Our spacious outdoor patio area has table seating and is well suited for BBQ events.
