Krause Berry Farms & Estate Winery
The course covers premium beef cuts for steak, prepping your steak for cooking and different steak cooking techniques. From here, you will select a practice steak recipe to begin your steak cooking experiences. You will also use your new steak cooking skills to begin making up your own steak recipes, just like professional chefs do.
We will be working with premium cuts of steak such as T-Bone, New York Steak, Beef Tenderloin and Rib Eye. You will be learning how to clean and portion whole beef tenderloin, tips of buying meat, how to properly heat a pan, prepare, cook and rest steaks.
Chef Wolfgang’s personal preferences are for rib-eye with mushrooms and red wine shallot sauce; fillet steak with oven potato and bois boudrin; and T-bone with spinach and mushroom sauce.
Inclusive one glass of Krause Berry Farms and Estate Winery Strawberry Sparkling Wine for the welcome introduction and cooking apron with emblem. Recipes will be sent to you via email upon request. Dinner and beverages for all participants.
