You’ll learn to make authentic Chinese dumplings with Judy, also known as the Dumpling Diva. First, Judy will discuss the ingredients used for Cantonese-style home cooking and where to buy them. Second, she will show you how to make dumplings. In this workshop, participants will be welcomed and encouraged (but not required) to make the product(s) during the workshop. An ingredient list will be sent in advance.
Judy is 3rd-generation Vancouverite and 3rd-generation UBC grad. She has a Master’s degree in Modern Chinese History, she has taken many cooking classes, and she belongs to 2 international wine and food clubs. Judy has 2 businesses: giving Historical Chinatown Tours and teaching people how to make Chinese dumplings. Judy has been teaching people how to make dumplings in Vancouver’s Chinatown and in Honolulu for 4 years, and has met so many interesting people from all over the world.
