Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps

Looking for something different to do with your turkey left-overs? This is a great low-carb version of Tacos. No shells, just lettuce.

Colourful, bright and tasty!








  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3/4 cup Chopped onion
  • 1lb JD Farms mixed ground turkey
  • 2 Cloves garlic, crushed
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 Tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup Low-sodium turkey or chicken broth
  • 1 head Iceberg or Romaine lettuce for serving
  • Shredded low-fat Mexi cheese, diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, diced avocado, chopped fresh cilantro and light sour cream for serving


Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add onion and sauté for 2 minutes. Add ground turkey and garlic. Season with Salt & Pepper and cook, breaking up turkey until cooked through, approximately 5 minutes. Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, tomato sauce and broth. Reduce to simmer and cook another 5 minutes or until sauce has reduced. Serve mixture on lettuce leaves with desired toppings.

Yields approx. 6 tacos
