The Anderson Family, now including granddaughter Melissa, invite you to visit their farm during the month of October for their annual Harvest festival with lots and lots of pumpkins, and much more to see. The Anderson’s also open their farm each year for 4 days at Easter. Farm openings do not require a reservation for families, but reservations are necessary for school classes, church/youth groups, birthday parties, and company/family get-togethers. Reservations are taken at all times of the year. ALDOR ACRES FAMILY FARM also provide a hands-on farm animal display for your company or family event, and Senior’s Bus Excursions are also welcomed at the farm by reservation and are becoming very popular. Ask us … we can help … whether it is on worm composting, spring baby animal classes, or other outdoor activities. We are known for our wonderful array of friendly farm animals, featuring goats, sheep, chickens, peafowl, big and small cattle, and more. In October, and just waiting in the field, are the many varieties, sizes and shapes of pumpkins to be crafted into that special “jack-o-lantern”, pie, or soup. Our October produce tent, affectionately known as the “FARMACY”, features many different vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, and corn, which can be picked while you wait. Specialty preserves, jams, jellies, our own farm-raised pork sausages, and eggs, are also available. Hay wagon rides complement all of the main farm activities.
